When you make a purchase, we gather your name, address, shipping address, phone number, e-mail address and also your credit card information.  We use the credit card information to bill you for your purchase.  If we have difficulty processing the order, we need this information to contact you.

Be assured that we do NOT share, sell or rent your information to anyone else. We use this information solely to consummate the transaction and as a way to respond to you.

Occasionally we may contact you via e-mail regarding new products and services and any specials we are offering.  We also might contact you regarding changes to the privacy policy. If you do not want to receive e-mails from Furniture Discovery you may opt out by contacting us.

To ensure that your information is kept confidential, we do not keep your credit card number on file. If you place your order online, as soon as we process your order through a secure website, your credit card information is automatically deleted. If you call us to place an order, we shred your number as soon as the order is processed. Rest assured that the information that you give us is only used to process your order. Since we do not store your credit card information, it cannot be stolen by a hacker!  If you place another order, we have to ask for your credit card information again. We are so serious about this that we would prefer to lose an order than have your private credit information stolen.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you input. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

We must transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing, but we reveal only the last four digits of your credit card number when confirming an order.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furniture Discovery is very aware of security and makes every effort to protect your information.

Furniture Discovery uses SSL, the current standard inscription protocol.  When you are on an SSL-protected page, a picture of a closed lock appears at the bottom or the top of some Web browsers.  Another way to tell if the page is secure is to see if the web address (URL) at the of the page starts with https:// instead of http://.

When you order online and enter your credit card number, it is encrypted and protected with SSL.  We also use an Extended Validation SSL Certificate on our website, which gives you more confidence that you are interacting with a trusted website and your information is secure. An EV SSL Certificate triggers high-security Web browsers to show the address bar in green, display the company’s name in a green address bar and show the name of the Certificate Authority that issued it. The Certificate Authority uses an audited rigorous authentication method to control the display, making it difficult for phishers and counterfeiters to hijack any information. Only high profile brands and websites such as Google, Yahoo, PayPal are using this type of security

Errors on Our Sitee

Prices and availability of products and services are subject to change without notice. If an error is discovered, it will be corrected. Furniture Discovery reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. For an order that has already been charged to your credit card, Furniture Discovery will issue a credit to that account in the amount of the charge. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please refer to the Furniture Discovery return policy before returning an item.

Order Processing

Furniture Discovery is not responsible for an order delay if it is out of our immediate control.  An order paid by credit card usually receives credit approval on the date that the order was placed.  If an order is delayed due to order processing, the order will default to the estimated ship date listed on the product page.

Estimated Shipping Times

Furniture Discovery provides you with a shipping time which is an estimate of how long it will take for your order to be processed and shipped to you from various warehouses.  These shipping times are NOT a guarantee.  For expedited shipping, please call customer service and speak to one of our representatives.

Products generally ship in the timeframe indicated on the product page.  Products are subject to prior sale and availability, therefore processing and shipping dates are not guaranteed.

If a product which is shown to be in stock and available is out of stock, Furniture Discovery will contact you by phone or e-mail.  You will have the option of backordering the furniture, cancelling your order for a full refund or choosing another item.

Furniture Discovery is not liable for costs associated with shipment delays.

Order Limitations

We reserve the right to reject any order you place with us, and/or or to limit quantities on any order, without giving any reason.  If we reject your order, we will generally attempt to notify you using the e-mail address you gave us when you placed the order.

Termination of Use

Furniture Discovery has the sole discretion to terminate your account or use of the Furniture Discovery website at anytime. You are personally liable for any orders that you place or charges that you incur prior to termination. Furniture Discovery reserves the right to change, suspend or discontinue all or any aspects of the Furniture Discovery website at any time without prior notice.
