How Do I Place an Order?

Furniture Discovery wants to make placing your order as secure as possible.  You may order online, by phone or by mail.

  • To order online, click the “add to cart” button that appears on the item page.  You may then continue shopping or proceed to checkout.  If you continue shopping, the item will stay in your shopping cart.  When you are done shopping, you can checkout via our secure checkout.  Be assured that all of your account information is safely isolated from unauthorized Internet users.
  • Before placing an order, you may have questions and want to speak to a customer representative.  You can do so by calling 1-800-642-8304.  Our customer service representatives will be very happy to answer any questions that you may have or find out additional information for you.  You may also place your order with a customer service representative. 

Customer service representatives are available to help you Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm ET.

What Are My Payment Options?

You can pay using American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal and Google Checkout.  If you use one of these options, your order will be processed immediately and will be shipped within the timeframe shown on the product page.

If you would like to use a personal check, a cashier’s check or a money order, please print out your shopping cart page and send it with your payment to:

Be sure to include a daytime phone number and e-mail address so that we and the shipping company can contact you with any questions that we might have.  You will also receive an order confirmation with tracking information by e-mail.

Please note that orders paid for by check will not ship until the funds have cleared. This process usually takes 5 to 7 business days.

Order Confirmation

An order confirmation will be sent by e-mail to the e-mail address on your order, once your order is complete.  The e-mail will come from Furniture Discovery and will contain your order number and details of your order.  This e-mail is your receipt, so it is important for you to keep this message.  Once you receive the e-mail, review the details and make sure that all of the information is correct.  If anything is incorrect, please contact us immediately.  If you do not receive an e-mail order confirmation within 12 hours, please call us at 1-800-642-8304.  You may also go to My Account for your receipt.  For instructions on how to review your order and how to print a receipt, please see “Printing a Receipt”.

Sales Tax

Furniture Discovery does not charge sales tax for shipments within the Continental US. If your order is shipped to a location in New Jersey, you will be charged 7% sales tax which will be added to your order at checkout. Please see “Shipping to Canada” if your order is being shipped to a Canadian location.

Furniture Discovery is not responsible for individual states' sales tax reporting laws pertaining to online purchases, so we encourage you to check your state's regulations.

Using Promotional Codes

During the year, we offer promotions on most of our products. If you join our e-mail list you will automatically become eligible for various discounts and promotions that we may offer. If you receive a promotion code via e-mail, make sure that you enter it during order checkout to receive the discount. Please note that many promotional codes and coupons are limited to one per purchase.

How do I redeem a promotional code?

In the Order Summary section on the Secure Checkout page, you have to enter the coupon code.

What if I don't see any place to put the code?

You can always contact us by phone or e-mail if you have any questions.

How do I know if a "coupon code" is working?

Once you enter a promotion code in coupon code section, click the Update Total button. You should see the updated total with a discount right above Coupon Code section.

Why doesn't the promotional code work?

1. Check the expiration date on the promotional code.
2. Some brands do not allow product discounts.

If your promotional code does not work, you will usually see red text explaining why.

Can I double up on coupon deals by using more than one promotion at time?

In most cases the promotional code will be valid only for a single transaction, or per item purchased.

Printing a Receipt

It is recommended that you print a receipt of your transaction for your records.  There are several ways to do this:

  • On the final Secure Checkout page, click on the printer image.
  • Print the e-mail confirmation that you will receive after your order has been placed.
  • Go to your Order History section.  Click on the View Invoice button and then click on the Print button from your Internet browser menu.

Cancelling an Item or Order

To change or cancel an order, please call us at 1-800-642-8304.  If you contact before the item has left the warehouse, you can change or cancel your order.  A cancelled order will receive a full refund.   If, however, your cancellation has been made after the order has shipped, it will be considered a return.

Some orders, such as items that are custom-made, cannot be cancelled.  Please see the product page for more details.
